Mayor's Porch Tours
As part of her vision for thriving neighborhoods, Mayor Nan Whaley holds neighborhood meetings during the spring and summer months, with a focus on discussing the unique future of each neighborhood, how the City can provide excellent services, promoting neighborhood strengths, and connecting neighborhoods to resources. With 65 neighborhoods across the city of Dayton, Mayor Whaley will engage in community conversations with each of the city's neighborhoods.
"Our citizens are our most precious resource" said Mayor Whaley. "My goal is to have a candid discussion with each neighborhood so that we can craft a strategy that supports their vision for the future. I want to provide the opportunity for partnership with the City and promote active community engagement."
Below is the tentative schedule for the 2018 leg of the Mayor's Porch Tour. Meetings start at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Times, dates and locations are subject to change. Contact the Mayor's Office at 937-333-3636 or email if you have any questions.
